Cheating

Academic dishonesty, which includes, but is not limited to cheating on a test, plagiarism and collusion will not be tolerated. Consequences may be determined by the Principal, the grade level, and the individual teachers. Some consequences are getting a zero on that assignment, detention, Saturday shool or an in-school suspension. Depending on the assignment and seriousness of the action, students may be removed from the school.

Detention

A detention is keeping a student before or after school or during lunch for a determined amount of time. teachers may require to serve the detentions on the day they are given. Detentions take priority over extra-curricular activites. At Countryside Academy, students who have detentions are required to not only attend their detention but for every detention they recieve to make up the time by doing something good for the better well being of the school.

Suspension

Suspension is the temporary exclusion of a student from school or a clas for a perio of time not to exceed ten school days. For more information contact the office.

Expulsion

Expulsion is the exclusion of a student from school and all school related activites for a period of time greater than 10 days but no longer than 1 year. Because of Countryside Academy is a boarding school, the students will leave from this school and go back to their home to live. All students are required to make-up missed work.

Saturday School

Saturday school may be assigned with an in or out of school suspension.
