Who decides the curriculum?
There is a mix of teachers and well educated people that decide the curriculum.  Some students are allowed to voice their opinions and suggestions into what the curriculum should consist of.

The role of the student...
The role of the student is to be educated at out school.  We want to fulfill our mission in our mission statement, and the students help make that possible. A student should behave in a mannerly way. For more information on discipline you can look at the Discipline section of the site.

"Children are all foreigners." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

The role of the teacher...
The role of the teacher is to be an educator at this school.  Once again, Countryside Academy would be nothing without the teachers here to educate our students and fulfill our mission stated in the mission statement.  There is no need for the teachers and students to have anything more than a school relationship. In the case of this happeneing extreme measures will be taken.
