How & What is learned? and How will we know if it's successful...

How and what is learned:
With outstanding teaching the teachers will teach the students to be well rounded students.  Among some things that are taught we try to base all of our studies upon the ideas of Thoreau, Emerson, Hawthrone, Whitman, Melville, Poe, and Twain.  Some topic we always cover are transcendentalism, feminism, romanticism, abolitionism, and industrialism. The teachers will teach in their own classroom with wooden desks.  When enrolled into the academy the students will receive all of their supplies.
How we will know if it's successful:
We will know if its successful by giving tests and talking with our students on a minimum of a weekly basis. If we feel that we are not succeeding in our job to fulfill our student's needs according to education, we will put together a commitee and brainstorm other ideas and ways to make our educating even better.  This commitee will be a mixture of students, teachers, and parents.  For more information on that commitee, you can call the school office, send a fax, letter, or e-mail if found necessary. An optional feature to have is that the student's parents or guardians may receive an e-mail about their child's progress and behavior in school.
